Smoked Pepper Jack and Onion Sausage
Here at Teet's Food Store, we are always looking to make a new product. Pepper Jack cheese is delicious on sandwiches, pasta, and in boudin! We decided to give the Smoked Pepper Jack and Onion Sausage a try and it has proven to be a great product! This sausage has the perfect blend of onion and pepper jack cheese. There is just enough onion to know that it is there and plenty of pepper jack cheese to give your taste buds a blast! We used our smoked pepper jack and onion sausage, shrimp, and pasta in the Smoked Meat Festival and placed in the Professional Division in June 2014.
Here is a recipe that we use the Smoked Pepper Jack and Onion Sausage with shrimp. It is the best Cajun shrimp and pasta dish ever.
This sausage is very delicious on bread as well. Light up the BBQ pit and let the sausage cook for about 20 minutes, and enjoy! Contains: pork, pepper jack cheese, onion, salt, red pepper, curing salt.
